I'm looking for a circle punch that is easy to use (a.k.a doesn't kill your palm after about 5 punches) and makes circles that are at least 3 inches or bigger. I saw one on Ebay, but that is the same type (small little square one) I had before than killed my hand. I'm hoping to find one with a pull down handle or something.

Thanks in advance!

Actually, turns out we need one at least 3" or bigger (hoping for 4").

A punch of that size will probably be the hand-killing type...

But I have these circle-cutter templates from Creative Memories (www.creativememories.com) that are really awesome. They look like this:

and there's a little blade "shuttle" that you runs along the edge of it to cut the circles (no tracing or hand-cutting involved). It's the easiest circle-cutting template I've ever used. But it's not cheap (I think something like $30 for templates + blades), and kind of a pain to get since you have to buy through a CM consultant.

I also have this Fiskars one from Michael's:

It's trickier to use and I sometimes have trouble getting the start/end point of my circle to line up, but it's bit cheaper (esp. if you use the Michael's coupon). With a little practice, it'll probably do the trick for you.

Ooh thanks! I'll forward the info to my sister :) That Creative Memories one is looking pretty good.

I HATE that Fiskars one. I definately suggest the CM.

I also second the CM cutting system! I LOVE it! It's just so easy to use! I bought the circles and the ovals. I've had too many Fiskars blades break on me. CM's doesn't swival and works slick!! :D
