View Full Version : just put together my peg perego A3. where is the boot??

i got the peg perego A3 as a shower gift from my SIL (love her!) but i am a bit confused. i put it together and it steers/folds great, however, there is no boot for when you use it as a carriage. is there a difference between the 2005 and 2006 model? or...is the boot something that you buy separately? help~~

Not sure, but I do know that with Pegs depending on where you buy it you get/don't get certain accessories. If SIL got it from your registry, call the store to make sure the boot comes with it from that store. If not, call Peg and they'll sell you one.

grrr, i am so angry.
i just found out that this store: babyage.com has really bad customer service! they sent me the wrong stroller seat cover, the one i got looks like the one for the P3. it doesn't unzip and fold down into that carriage style. i actually went to buy buy baby to see the stroller in the 2005 model and the salespeople were so helpful. unfortunately, they did not have the newport color there.
the customer service rep at babyage claims that they sent me the "european version". that's bullcrap, cuz i called peg perego and found out that they are not even an authorized dealer...AND that peg has gotten many calls from confused customers of babyage.com.

so now, i have to have them come pick up the stroller and put the money back to my sister in law's cc.

even though i did my research carefully on the stroller quality and manufacturer, i learned that i didn't do enough on the ratings of the retailer!

ordered a new one from a different online store. it's awesome!! can't wait to use it...

i also got the P3, and i LOVE it! i've been strolling it around the house since we assembled it. mine is gray and black and did not come with a boot. guess i'll need to look into purchasing some accessories.
