I wanted to bring the TTA thread information over from WC. Is anyone else over here? If people are interested in starting it up over here I can bring all of the information over.

I'd be interested in joining. I've been charting to avoid for 2 years now. I have very irregular cycles and have found charting to be very valuable to let me know when I've ovulated. Hope we can find some more people to join us.

I charted a year before getting pg, and now haven't had to host AF for a year. :) Not sure when that gravy train will end, but I'll definitely be going back to charting once I have something to chart (and it'll be to avoid for a couple years then!)

I'm here! I've seen some other TTA ladies around here, so hopefully, they will check in soon. :)

I'm here...I'd stopped being active in the thread on WC, but I'm still doing the charting-to-avoid thing.

I've been TTA for about a year and a half now. I stopped using WC but would be interested in posting over here.

I've opened the new thread....
Where is it? I can't find it.

ETA: Nevermind - I found it.

I'd love to quit taking BC and chart to avoid, but it scares the heck out of me. I started to read the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility", and it seems so complicated. Does anyone have any advice on other resources? I just don't want to get pregnant right now, so the prospect of getting it wrong really freaks me out!

MLA~ I know it seems complicated but once you get some 'practice' and start figuring out what your body's pattern is, it really isn't. We started out by using condoms as protection until I could figure out the differences between CM, how to recognize a temp shift, ect. The best thing is having a group of ladies here who are all doing the same thing. Come join us in the TTA thread and feel free to ask as many questions as you want.

Thanks, kemaji! I appreciate the support. I've just started going through the other TTA thread, and I'm going to go back and really delve into "Taking Charge . . . "

I'm an intelligent woman, so I'm sure I can do this, but it's just a little overwhelming and scary.

Hi, i was over on the WC-kind of lurked in the charting to avoid section. I'll join you girls over here!
Went off BCP February/march 2005 and have been charting since.

Hi all! I'm just going to jump right in with a question...

I went off BCP in February 2005 and am still TTA for another few months. We plan to TTC in August/September of this year, but the only regular cycle I've had was my first one off the pill. Since then I haven't had an actual period (at least not like they used to be); instead I have had anywhere from 6-12 days of spotting at *fairly* regular intervals. No clear temp shifts that I can see, but CM fluctuates about when it should for me to be Oing each month. Does this mean that my cycles are annovulatory?

Another thing - last time I visited my dr for my annual wwe (in Feb), I told her we would be TTC soon and she made a point of telling me that it could take up to a year to get pg. Of course I already know that, and that's not what bothers me. I'm just afraid that she isn't into the whole FAM method and will somewhat chastise me for doing it. Or she won't take me seriously when I tell her I'm annovulatory. I could be completely wrong, but this nagging feeling has kept me from going in and asking her about it. I remember reading on the *other* boards about a site that lists FAM-friendly doctors....anyone know what that site is or have a similar experience with your doctor? (If it matters, this is my primary/gyn doctor, I don't have an ob yet).

Hi ladies! You can count me in on this thread. This is my 4th cycle charting. My other 3 have been pretty normal, but this one is whacked out! I'm under huge work stress right now, so I'm chalking it up to that. FF is calling a possible O, but I honestly don't see it. Anyone care to take a peek?

kemaji - can you delete this thread? I think people are still posting on it and now that we have a longer, established Charting to TTA thread this one is kind of irrelevant...
