i'm 8 weeks (today) and have been having menstrual-like cramps on and off all day today. sometimes they're pretty significant.
the first couple of weeks i was pregnant i also had some intermittent cramping, but it had really gone away the last couple of weeks.
is it weird that it's back? should i be concerned? did anyone else have this?

I am 9 weeks along now. My cramps had stopped around week 5, but 2 weeks ago (around 7 weeks) they started again one day. It was all day and they actually woke me up in the middle of the night. They seemed to have stopped again. I went to the doctor last week because I had some bleeding then. I had an ultrasound and everything was fine. She told me both things were normal in early pregnancy, but scary nonetheless. I think I posted about this over in the WCs feb mommies thread and two of the previous mommies had cramping throughout the 1st trimester.
I'm sure everything is fine but call the doctor just to check in. I felt like I was calling every other day in the beginning so I waited a little longer to call last week and the nurse was upset with me for waiting a couple of days.
Good luck! :D
Totally normal, yes, especially with TWOOOOO BAYBEEEEES!!! :D

As long as your not spotting pink or red along with them, the cramps are perfectly normal. I had them all throughout my first trimester (am going on 20w now) and would run to the bathroom in a panic swearing AF was making an appearance. ;) Congrats on expecting twins!

I had some light cramping AND spotting in the first trimester and everything turned out A-OK. :p
If you are feeling unsure, you can always contact your OB. Perhaps they'll order an u/s to ease your mind. There is nothing like seeing that h/b to make you feel better. Trust me...I had several!

it's just scary when it comes back and you feel like cramps just can't be a good thing!
