I saw Shopgirl with Steve Martin and Claire Danes earlier this week.
I liked it alot and thought it Claire Danes did a good job.
I was really looking forward to this because I used to watch Claire in " My So Called Life."
Anyone else enjoy this movie like I did?

I haven't seen it yet, but DH and I will probably go this weekend. Glad to hear you thought it was good!

We're also probably going to go this weekend. We both really liked the book, but it doesn't seem like it would be the easiest thing to turn into a movie (for starters, the book had very little dialogue), so I'm interested to see how it turns out.

So we did see it over the weekend and really enjoyed it. I'm not the world's biggest Claire Danes fan, but DH is a big enough fan for the both of us. And even though I like Jason Schwartzman, I was still surprised by how funny he was. I do think that if you didn't like the book, then the movie's not for you, because it was a very faithful adaptation.

Thanks BellaPrincess!!! [btw, it was SO NICE to meet you Sat nite!] I did finally go see Shopgirl tonight! My girlfriend and I had almost the WHOLE theatre to ourselves! I ended up really liking the movie... and it made me want to read the book. Who knew Steve Martin had some depth to him??? :D
