Now, I don't know about any of you, but if I had been driving, I'm fairly certain that 1) I would have been given a field sobriety test 2) I would have been arrested for fleeing the scene of an accident.

I have had friends and relatives killed by drunk drivers, so seeing this idiot out there in his $300k "toy" just made my blood boil.

Paris Hilton's engagement to Paris Latsis may have been short, but it sure wasn't small. Everything about it was big - from the over-the-top public displays of affection to the plans for two weddings (one in the U.S. and one in Greece). And certainly large was Paris's engagement ring. The rock she wore on her left hand throughout her relationship was, at 24 carats, the size of a strawberry, leaving many to suspect that Latsis had spent a fortune on it. But the truth is the ring's price tag was not too hefty. According to Page Six, the bauble was a fake. An insider told the gossip column that Paris "bought it for herself. It's a cubic zirconia. The ring Paris [Latsis] gave her was a much smaller one. She lied to Us Weekly about it and everyone picked it up." Hilton kept the fake ring so you may see it on her finger again soon. Okay, I just watched that video. Disgusting. But not surprising. Apparently, cops can be just as star-struck as the rest of us. Not conducting a sobriety test, now THAT was enraging. :mad: :mad:
