1. iPhone 3G - I’ll admit it, when the original iphone came out, I thought it was ridiculous. Why would anyone pay that much for a phone when you can get them for free/cheap! Then the 3G came out, and my husband wanted one. So I got one too. Man, I love that thing. I can check my email - anywhere! I can pull up youtube - anywhere! And if the kids get cranky, I can turn on their favorite videos and keep them happy. It’s worth it’s weight in gold (which is about what it cost).
2. Crumpler Camera Bag - This summer, I got a new lens, and outgrew my old camera bag, so my hubby got me this. So much better than my old one! More attractive, easier to carry, and so much room for new things! Water resistant too. And it doesn’t scream “camera bag!” which is nice.
3. Cricut Die Cut Machine - (It’s pronounced “cricket”.) I love this baby. Seriously changed the way I scrap. Before, I’d create these great pages, then hem and haw over the title, because I could never get it the way I wanted. That’s all done now. Coordinating paper + cricut = fantastic page titles! And fun shapes and characters too!
4. Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens - This is the previously mentioned new lens. LOVE this baby. Fast, sharp, and the pictures that come out of it are incredible. Ever since the day I got it, I keep thinking “wow”.
5. Nintendo Wii - Wii = Fun. That’s really all there is to it. We have a great time with it. Me, DH, even our 4 year old. It’s great fun. And now that we added the wii fit, it’s exercise too!
