Too funny!!! I just wanted to tell you that your post made me laugh out loud. I have a friend that is very much “culinary clueless” and we don’t allow her in the kitchen either.

Very funny! Thanks for the laugh! I’ll be thinking of you the next time I cook dinner.

hilarious!!! this cracked me up…especially over the “green” frosting. i have a friend that used to be somewhat clueless but now she’s really turned into a martha jr :P there is hope, but since your hubby is a fab cook you’ve been saved from future kitchen disasters.

Hilarious!! I used to be exactly like you (except instead of keeping frames on the stove, I would use my pantry for storing shoes). Not sure what turned it around for me. I think I just felt the desire to cook one day. It really was just as simple as that. That fact that I got bored of eating take out 7 days a week for 4 years, probably fueled that desire ;) You’re lucky your husband knows how to cook, so you’re not forced to have to do it yourself. But recipes are your friends…in case you ever really do want to learn ;)

Ah, yes. I am a famously bad cook as well, though not quite so far as never using the stove. I just don’t care. Really. I just need to eat. If it comes in a package and I can plop it in boiling water - great. If there is any thought…not so much. That’s why DH cooks in our house.

That’s hilarious! I am not much of a cook either. Thank goodness for frozen meals and microwaves. As for the s’mores, next time remember to roast the marshmellows outside over a fire!

It’s nice to meet another person who is clueless in the kitchen. I’m not as clueless as you are, but I’m pretty close. Thank goodness for pre-prepared entrees in the frozen food aisle ;)
