I just came across this new product, and already I’m jonesing for it. It doesn’t even go on sale until this summer. Moms of toddlers and preschools know, that before long, kids decide they don’t want to sit in a booster seat to eat anymore. The only problem is, they’re still too short not to use one. So dinner becomes a like a game of whack-a-mole, with the kid popping up and down all the time as they sit, kneel and stand, all while the parents try to eat their dinner without having a nervous breakdown and visions of their child falling and requiring a trip to the ER.

But now, or soon anyway, thanks to the folks at Kaboost, we will all be able to eat dinner in peace. (Well, as much peace as dinner with a preschooler can be.) They’ve invented this handy device that goes under just about any 4-legged chair and raises it up so the child is sitting at booster seat height! Holds up to 300 lbs, has rubberized feet so it won’t scratch floors or slip, and snaps on in seconds. Even better, it folds up for easy portability, meaning you can bring it to grandma’s or your favorite restaurant.
My only question now is when can I get one? Sign up on the site and get notification when it’s available for sale.
