There are a lot of products that I love; however, most of them could be replaced with a comparable product. When I think of my 5 favorites, these are things have had a very positive impact on my life. So, without further ado, here are my top 5 favorite, irreplaceable, best things since sliced bread, yadda, yadda, yadda products in no particular order:
CHI™ flat iron - I have no idea how I lived without this phenomenal product. I’ve never particularly liked my hair. It’s somewhere in between straight and wavy. I can never just “wash & go”. With the CHI™ flat iron, I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I’m a SAHM and don’t have a lot of time to fuss with my hair. My current routine is to wash & dry my hair in the evenings. I then let my hair “settle” for 30 minutes or so and then use my CHI™ flat iron and straighten it. It takes approximately 10 minutes to straighten my shoulder length hair. I then sleep on it, wake up in the morning, squirt it with a little hair spray and I’m ready to go. My hair stays straight, even after sleeping on it, and even on super humid days. This flat iron is definitely worth the money!
Paula’s Choice skin recovery moisturizer - Amazing! My skin has progressively become more and more dry. Age, stress, the environment and hormone changes have done a number on my skin, and now I suffer from dry skin year round. Paula’s Choice skin recovery moisturizer to the rescue! I put it on every night and it immediately softens my skin and takes away that dry, tight feeling.
Humanity Infant & Herbal sleeper - Okay, I’ll admit it. I was one of those pregnant women who swore she’d never sleep with her baby. First lesson of new motherhood: never say never. For many reasons we welcomed our babies into our bed, and found the safest way for us to do this was with the Humanity Infant & Herbal sleeper. The organic cotton pads have been put through the test of a 2.5 year old and 6 month old (doing the math, that = quite a few diaper leaks and other mishaps). We’ve never had anything soak through the pad and onto our bed. Most importantly, it keeps our children safely on our bed without the risk of suffocation. We have two sleepers on our bed and are very happy with our investment.
Diet Pepsi Jazz black cherry & vanilla - How is this stuff diet? Everytime I down a can, I have the thought in the back of my head that it’s really not diet and after drinking 1-2 cans/day in a week, I’m going to put on 10 pounds. However, that hasn’t happened yet (thankfully!). The caramel cream flavor is pretty good, too!
Starbuck’s drive-thru windows - Not a product, but certainly a life saver for me. Every now and then I need the extra kick provided by a venti no whip soy mocha. My life isn’t exactly conducive to running into the nearest Starbuck’s. With a 2.5 yo and 6 month old in tow, it’s not really worth my energy to haul them into a coffee shop, as I’m sure Starbuck’s patrons greatly appreciate. Thank goodness for drive-thru service. Not only do I get my extra little caffeine kick, but I sometimes manage to finagle naps out of both kids (at the same time!) on my drive-thru adventures. It’s a win-win situation.
Okay, I’m off to flat iron my hair, moisturize my face, crawl into my family bed and dream about caffeinated beverages that will give me that extra kick in the pants I need on a daily basis.

Wow, I wish we had Starbucks drive through windows here. Or better yet, Starbucks delivery! Maybe someone can just hook me up to a Frappuccino IV drip…
