That last one is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen! My DH hits the snooze 3 times in the morning, and it's set to static on the radio, so it's a horrible noise. This thing is awesome!

I had the peaceful progression clock and it will juts irritate you even more! Not only will you get 1/2 hour of "peaceful" waking, you get endless irritating snoozes!

Now the flying one is pretty darn cool. That gets my vote for annoying but not too annoying!

I wasn't looking for an alarm clock, I was there to pee and grab a soda for the rest of the 60+ minute drive. They were advertising the clock in the bathroom and on the front door.

But I do love to walk around truck stops and see what's there. I got the coolest hand wound flashlight for our earthquake kit when we were driving home from the NC GTG.

Those are hilarious! I like the puzzle and flying ones, but don't think I would ever subject myself to them.

We have our alarm across the room, so we have to get out of bed to shut it off.

I must say that 2-4 are evil and pretty funny. I'm afraid all except #1 would result in being yanked from the wall and/or thrown against a wall.

As another solution, maybe switch from the buzzing to the radio? I found the music doesn't wake me up in the awful mood like the alarm sound.

Ah, very nice!

Option E is what ours is. A dog who hears the alarm clock and knows not to let you snooze. As soon as it goes off, she jumps out of bed and accosts us.

Can I just ask why you were looking for alarm clocks at a truck stop?

My roommate never used to be able to wake up with her alarm and I was *this* tempted to buy her a vibrating alarm clock that I saw at a truck stop once. With many of them, the obscenely loud alarm can be turned off leaving just the shaking bed.
