Oh, jesvet. HUGS. RIP Reggie, I hope you are playing with that little baby who met you at the Rainbow Bridge…

and Jesvet…thank you for taking such good care of our furry friends. And for (obviously) taking such good care of their 2 legged Mommies and Daddies.

Aw, you made me tear up at work. (But I’ll blame it on allergies.) So sad.

Ditto Nicole - I’ll blame it on the pregnancy hormones.

Beautifully written - makes me want to go home and hug my cat. Thanks for being such a compassionate doctor.

Thanks for doing what you do, jesvet. You are truly a gift to the animals that you care for and their owners as well. Now all I have to do is hope nobody comes across me while I sit here in tears….

You must get sick of me saying this, but thank you for all you do. I know it’s your job but to hear your perspective, and how sometimes doing your job goes beyond that, lifts my heart.

And now I feel guilty for telling Sommer to stop rubbing my laptop. *off to find her and give her guilt pets*

On a good day, any mention of the Rainbow Bridge cause me to completely melt down - add pregnancy hormones and I am crying like a baby. I have no idea how you do what you do, but thank you for doing it.

I have no idea how you do it. I’m crying just reading about it. RIP Reggie and prayers to the fur baby parents.

I don’t know how you do it. Our pets are so much a part of our families, yet it is easy to overlook the impact of their deaths on their caretakers. I always enjoy your blog entries, but this one in particular touched my heart.

I totally wasn’t expecting that twist, and I totally lost it. DH came over to see why I was crying and he read it, too. So sad. I really feel for that couple.

I wasn’t expecting it either…hoo boy. That actually took place a couple years ago and is to this day my most heart wrenching experience in this field.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for what you do - for being a compassionate doctor, for caring the way that you do. The world truely needs more people like you.

RIP Reggie….though I have no doubt he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is sitting on a kitty beach sipping on tuna margaritas with a new young human friend.

*sniff* I’m not crying, it’s the hot peppers in my burrito! :p
