After years of having just expanded basic cable, we finally upgraded to digital cable. For those who can’t remember what expanded basic cable is, that’s your basic ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CW, as well as some expanded channels like ESPN, TNT, TBS, TLC, HGTV. Nothing fancy.
Now, I have over 200 channels to choose from. And, I’m glued to the TV now. So many shows to choose from, so many channels - there’s always something good on television. I’m enjoying stations like fittv and Discovery Health. Seriously, forget TLC’s “A Baby Story”, the shows on Discovery Health are so much better!
Oh, and did I mention the video on demand feature? How cool is that? I now have a plethora of exercise videos to choose from, as well as many of my favorite shows, including HGTV’s “House Hunting”.
Add to the new cable the fact that we’ve had non stop snow and now freezing temperatures you can perhaps understand my new found joy of cable.
