I only watched the Super Bowl sporadically on Sunday night, but I did happen to catch a few commercials. One was the Snicker’s ad (video below). I laughed when they kissed, but didn’t really care for the “quick, do something manly” ending. All I could think of was how stupid those guys were for ripping their chest hair out, not manly.

One could argue that by adding that line, Snicker’s is insinuating that to be gay is unmanly. Another person could argue that Snicker’s was trying to force homosexuality down millions of viewers throats.
So was this an anti-gay commercial? A commercial promoting homosexuality? Whatever it is, it sure has people talking. And isn’t that the point of Super Bowl commercials?

Great points, Jenny! Honestly, when I saw it, I couldn’t get over how scuzzy looking those guys were and I didn’t think anything about homosexuality. LOL!
