I agree. Antonella Barba was better than her friend.

The cowboy hat chicks were cra-zy.

Even the kids were cracking up during Ashanti’s soap opera monologue. Did she rehearse that?

I thought the same thing, that Ashanti should give up the singing dream and go for acting! She wasn’t half bad.

Jenry, OMG. He is my new (underage) boyfriend. Paula’s, too, I think!!!

I only watched a bit of it, but man oh man. I have learned that to keep my sanity, I should shy away from cowboy hats. The first chick then went away saying “We’re PEOPLE!” Um, yeah, you’re people who can’t sing to save their lives.

DH and I were laughing our asses off at the really freaky chick (pink cowboy hat) who “doesn’t sing” but “wants to learn” - when she was having her meltdown out in the holding area. Hubby looked at her and said, “Some poor guy is going to get stuck with that nutjob, and that is just so wrong”. Yeesh. Crazy!

OMG, last night was great!

BTW - sorry to go a bit off topic but I read online that Season 4 American Idol Semi-Finalist Sarah Mather after being voted off AI has gone her own way looking find musical stardom.

Check out her taking her shot through the newest music competition, Music Nation (www.musicnation.com), an online video music competition that is giving 3 artists, one in each of the rock, pop and urban genre a recording contract with Epic Records….

I wonder if any other AI alums will go this route???
(lets hope Latoya London does!!)

Check out her video “Lost Then Found” http://www.musicnation.com/v53d

That 16 y/o kid was YOWZA!! I’d be SO interested to see how he turns out in few years when he turns legal.

And having never seen this show before I can’t help but wonder, why didn’t they make him sing Buttercup??? If he’s asking for a second chance, wouldn’t you want to know that he actually learned something from his last experience? I mean what makes him more deserving than any of the others that are trying out?

That “Simon Cowell look-alike” with the high voice actually IS a drag performer in Boston. Or rather, he was until the director of the premier troupe in the city threw him out for being too much of a prima donna. And for a drag queen to be TOO MUCH of a prima donna… well, that’s saying something. That boy really loves himself.
