The night starts out with the nine girls trying to out sing one another in order to get a date alone with Lorenzo. These girls should all do what I do – reserve their singing for: the car, the shower, church and any future babies. Some of these ladies were downright BAD. None were what would be considered good. Jami won the date.
Erica was pissed that Jami won this date. Erica decided that Lorenzo was dressing Jami up in jewels and gloves to try and hide her tattoos. Lorenzo said it was the most romantic night of his life, but he just wasn’t feeling the physical attraction to Jami, so he sent her on her way, but not before taking off the 2 million dollars worth of jewels. Lorenzo leaves and we see Jami crying and breaking down on a street corner.
Next up was the group date to Tuscany. Jeanette pulled him aside first for her alone time. She claims she’s shy to the camera and wants to make sure that Lorenzo notices her. She tells Lorenzo that she’s there for the right reasons, blah, blah, blah – don’t they all claim to be there for the right reasons?
During alone time, Sadie confesses her secret that she’s a virgin. Lorenzo, handles the news with grace.
During this time, Lisa is starting to piss the other girls off. She claims this date is fun, but it’s a bit hard to be romantic with five other girls. Lorenzo comes back shortly and pulls Lisa aside for alone time, or should that be make out time?
Later that night the five girls and Lorenzo are hanging out in a bedroom playing truth or dare. From feeding Lorenzo grapes to doing belly shots from his belly button, the night certainly was interesting.
The next morning, Lorenzo decided he needed some alone time with Jennifer. Jennifer turned on the waterworks when explaining why she loves to teach.
Then at breakfast, Lorenzo issues the one rose – to Jeanette because he felt she was so honest with him and he had a very meaningful conversation with her.
The sparks fly on the last date. Erica and Agnesse were invited, with the understanding that one would get a rose and one would leave that night. They arrived all dolled up at Lorenzo’s place, only to be given free reign of his closet to find something more comfortable to wear. They each have alone time and then Erica, the fake princess is given the boot. She has a complete meltdown. As she’s crying and screaming, all I could think was – girlfriend needs to do something drastic to her hair because it’s fugly. Goodbye, Erica – you might try putting that college education to work and actually working. Agnesse then has Lorenzo all to herself. Fireworks are let off, causing her to jump right into Lorenzo’s arms. And then the smooching started.
At the rose ceremony, there were five girls without roses and four roses to give out. Lisa, Jennifer, Sadie all received a rose. At this point, it comes down to dirty face Gina and Desiree “baby”. I found myself hoping to see more of Desiree next week, as now that Jami and Erica are both on their merry way there won’t be any infighting there, so we need Desiree and her new found dislike of Lisa to help spice things up. Desiree gets the rose, and I find myself glad for her, until she utters “baby” – gag me, maybe he should have kept dirty face Gina.
Dirty face Gina surprised me when she turned on the waterworks. Other than her dirty looks, she hadn’t really shown much emotion up until now.
ABC keeps promising more drama, but so far, it hasn’t lived up to my expectations. Now that unemployed Erica has gone home, what will they fill an hour up with?
